Problem The customer's oil has been in use for 3 years, and the oil tank's normal operating temperature reaches up to 70°C, which is typical for a high-temperature system. In July 2025, the customer sent in oil samples, and it was found that the lacquer tendency index and contamination levels for two gas turbines were both seriously over the limit. The customer hopes that during shutdown maintenance, the lacquer film and particles inside the pipelines can be flushed out and then replaced with new oil. Although the lacquer tendency index is very high, no lacquer deposits were found inside the equipment during maintenance.
Solution: Install the Shiyi FF27-108 V-E2M precision filter, with a filtering flow of 1800L/H, and install four FB 27-27 filter elements. Set it up for bypass circulation filtration on the oil tank. The customer runs the main pump every hour to circulate and flush the pipes. During the filtration of gas filter #2, the ambient temperature is 30°C, and during the filtration of gas turbine #1, the ambient temperature is 15°C.
During the filtration service, the customer regularly takes oil samples from the pipeline according to sampling standards. Shiyi Electromechanical obtains the test numbers from SGS for the customer, and the customer sticks the test numbers on the sample bottles. Then they just wait for SF Express to come pick them up. After SF Express collects the samples from the customer's address, they send them directly to SGS's Shanghai lab. This solves the problem of how to ship oil samples by courier.
